Sublimated Apparel

Sublimation uses traditional printing machinery in the most nontraditional ways, creating a marriage of image and textile that allows fashion designers to explore new territory. Rather than weaving, embroidering, or screen printing a design, sublimation integrates pigment directly into fabric achieving colorfast, vibrant results without compromising the drape and texture. The sublimation process begins by printing a color accurate design on paper using sublimation inks. The inks vaporize when heated and applied to material, creating a precise replica of the design onto that material. This process produces unique, fashion-forward looks that are popular with a wide range of consumers.

Sublimated Labels:
AVID provides sublimation technology to apply labels and garment care instructions onto the inside of your garments. You can submit a custom created label design or have our art department assist in designing the perfect labels for your garments. This is another way that the sublimation process can enhance your product and make it truly unique.
