Founded in 1997 by Robert D. Davis (CEO), AI started business in the Action Sports industry by providing sublimation on snowboards and wakeboards. At the time, AI had just one transfer machine. The company sourced sublimation paper from East Coast suppliers and was faced with three main challenges: low quality, long lead times for deliveries, and high cost for volume purchased.

Davis set out to change the industry and raise the bar. He established AI as a full-service sublimation company with the purpose of becoming exemplary in integrity, quality, service, delivery, and value. Today, AI is one of the worlds, leading sublimation printing companies. AI's Art Department houses innovative artists with a library of 35,000+ open line designs. The Printing and Production facilities include pre-press, digital, and four-color sublimation machinery, supported by AI Color Profile Library to deliver the highest color accuracy. Certified Placement Engineers undergo extensive training to ensure quality and placement accuracy of artwork at point of transfer.
